(Un)Intelligent Design Announcement

Today is the day we officially announce our upcoming game, (Un)Intelligent Design!  In a nutshell, (Un)Intelligent Design is a god-simulator / sandbox game in which you can do just about anything you want.  We are entirely open to (and highly reccomend) suggestions, so please post any ideas over on the forums.  If we like your suggestion and put it into the game, we'll inform you and add your forum username to the credits for helping us make the game even more awesome!

The rapidly expanding list of planned (but not 100% guaranteed) features currently includes: 

  • Ability to place models anywhere
  • Ability to take on a mortal form for exploring the world on foot (or by air or sea if you take over an animal!)
  • Ability to weld objects to each other and freeze them in place so they can't be moved 
  • Oceans with waves, rivers with currents
  • Various NPCs, vehicles, and weapons to be used in mortal mode
  • Customizable character for mortal mode
  • In-game editor for NPCs, weapons, and vehicles (and possibly even models)
  • Ability to create game-modes (somewhat like adventure maps in Minecraft)
  • Dynamic and player-controlled weather system
Also, we plan on doing a sort of 'open-development' type of development process, meaning that once we get a playable Alpha version we'll release it at half the price of the full version so people can help us test out new features and find bugs that we may have missed.

After some important executive decisions, we have put our current projects on hold so we can work on a new idea that we came up with. We'll release details on this game once we're done deciding on what features we will have in the initial release. It shouldn't take too long, so keep an eye out for an update. Also I know it's been several months since my last post. I've been busy.. And on a side note: You may have noticed all of our old blog posts have disappeared.. don't ask me why because I have no clue.
